Sustainability Charge
In recent years, chronic underfunding in the early years has meant settings have struggled to make ends meet and many have closed.
Government funding is intended to cover the cost to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare. It does not cover enhanced activities, quality resources, consumable materials or extra costs incurred when providing varied and healthy and snacks.
To ensure the future of PATA @ Elmbridge we have introduced a termly sustainability charge of £1 per day for each day that your child attends the setting.
